Kookaburra

Kookaburra is an Australian company which has been making both cricket and field hockey equipment for many years. They sponsor many International cricket players such as Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, and Aravinda de Silva. In Field Hockey, Kookaburra sponsor players such as Jay Stacy, Jason Duff, Renita Gerard, and many others.

Kookaburra Cricket and Field Hockey Balls have been exclusively used in All international events. The Dimple Elite Field Hockey Ball by Kookaburra is the only ball endorsed by The FIH, and is used in all International Events including the Olympic Games. This remarkable tradition continues at the 2000 Sydney Olympics as Kookaburra is once again selected as the Official Ball Supplier.

In addition to sponsoring individual players, Kookaburra are also proud sponsors of the Australian men’s hockey team, the Kookaburras, the Australian women’s hockey team, the Scottish National men’s and women’s squads, and is the official ball supplier to The English Hockey Association.
